The best aspects of my stay were the friendly staff and the convenient location. The staff were always helpful and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The hotel's location was key, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. It made exploring the city so much easier.
The worst aspect of my stay was the noise level. The walls were quite thin, and I could hear noises from other rooms and the hallway, which made it a bit difficult to relax and fall asleep.

Everything! I walked into my room and left immediately, with no other accomodation to go to it was better than staying in what I would describe as a hell hole. They wanted me to leave my key at the desk everytime I left the building however there were 10+ signs in the lobby saying they are not responsible for lost or stolen property. Did not feel safe here what so ever. Would not recommend even to an enemy!

The hotel was dirty. As you walked up the stairs, there roaches crawling around. Next to the reception desk was a room with a employee walking around naked in a office with the door open. The room is not designed as your regular hotel room, it is literally a room with just a bed and two pillows. There is no bathroom, tv, night stand and ect. In this room.i wouldn't suggest anyone stay at this place.

Great location, close to subway stations and attractions. Good price for Manhattan. Privacy and freedom in your own room. Adequate safety measures.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I liked that the room was just enough. Just a place to stay the night, but they had TVs and fans in each room, 4 single bathrooms meant not having to wait in line. Also, there was a basket with toilettries and disposable slippers. Also, wifi had great connection.
Check in process took a little long

Fantastic location in downtown, close to everything. Budget-friendly option for those on a tight budget. Clean rooms and adequately maintained bathrooms. Convenient amenities provided like towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, and shower gel. Ideal for solo travelers or those looking for a no-frills place to crash in Manhattan.

Noisy. Dirty.

The tax on the room seemed high: room price...$ 55. And tax $11.68 which is aboutt 20 percent. TOTAL. $ 66.68. The room was extremely small, little larger than the bed which was adequate. One needs to carry his luggage up one flight of stairs, maybe should be mentioned.

I stayed at Bowery Grand for 15 nights as a budgeted solo traveler. The price was the lowest I found for a solo room in Manhattan. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the Grand Street and Bowery subway stations. The room had a comfortable bed, a blanket, and a towel. The WiFi was reliable, with good download and upload speeds. I felt safe and had my own space, which was important to me. I had a decent stay and would recommend it for practical solo travelers on a budget.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The bathrooms were fairly clean.
Internet was out the entire three nights we were there, each time they claimed they were going to get it fixed. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the blankets had stains and cigarette burns. Rooms were no bigger than the bed.

Worst experience of my life, and I believe it is also a brothel...

It is in the heart of China Town. Near the place where our take tour trip's pick-up point. It was convenient for us. Tight room, I can her everything happening outside our room. So this is no first class accommodation. But the bathrooms are clean with hot water. And it's worth my money. A place to stay in since we're out most of the day.
Talk of sound insulation. Security. Tight rooms. No elevator.

Location is great.
Rooms are not actually rooms - they are cubicules, holes in the walls. No windows, no furniture, no hangers, no nothing. There were no bedsheets for the blankets. Bathroom were ok but could have been cleaner. The whole structure looks dodgy and not well maintained.
